Function / Content

This series consists of two volumes. Both volumes contain an index of surveyor names and the pages that have been allocated to them. The top of the page has surveyor name, with some pages including another surveyor name. Information recorded on the pages of the first volume are number, contents, date of survey, original plan or diagram, date received and remarks. Most pages have a line through them and a note that they have been transcribed to a new register, signed and dated. The second volume has the information transcribed from volume one with new entries. Details recorded include surveyor name, number, surveyor instructions, plan number or field book number, date received, date of survey, locality and subject.
